Tech-bound center Chris Bosh averaged 20 points and nine rebounds.

Anthony, Jersey City, N.J. (29-1)
Previous: 2. Recap: Won its second consecutive and eighth overall
State Tournament of Champions title, beating Neptune 69-49 before 10,000.
St. John's-bound guard Elijah Ingram, who scored 20 points, was named the
tournament's MVP. Also won its 23rd Parochial B state title, closing the
season on a 19-game win streak.
3. Oak
Hill Academy, Mouth of Wilson, Va. (32-1)
Previous: 3. Recap: Won three in-season tournaments, including
Nike's Academy National Invitational, stopping then-No. 1 Westchester (Los
Angeles) 77-61 in the final. Syracuse-bound Carmelo Anthony (21.7 ppg, 8.1
rpg) was named MVP in two tournaments. Had a 67-game win streak halted by
Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) 84-72 on Feb. 2.

Vashon, St. Louis (30-1)
Previous: 4. Recap: Won its third consecutive 4A state title,
defeating DeSmet Jesuit (St. Louis) 82-27. Missouri-bound guard Jimmy
McKinney scored 26 points and was named the state tournament's MVP. Saint
Louis-bound forward Nicholas Kern had 23 points and five rebounds in the
title game.

Westchester, Los Angeles (32-2)
Previous: 5. Recap: Defeated Oakland Tech 80-75 to win its second
CIF Division I state championship and first since 1998. Arizona-bound guard
Hassan Adams scored 24 points. Brandon Bowman, who's headed to Georgetown,
added 20 points. Defeated Poly (Long Beach) 66-60 in the CIF-Southern
California, Division I final.
6. Rice,
New York, N.Y. (29-2)
Previous: 6. Recap: Won the State Federation Class A title,
defeating Henninger (Syracuse) 61-53. Keydren Clark scored 16 points and
Steve Burtt Jr. added 15. Defeated Lincoln (Brooklyn) 50-48 in semifinals.
Also won the City CHSAA Class A title.

Rainier Beach, Seattle (28-1)
Previous: 8. Recap: Won its third Class 3A state championship,
beating Mercer Island 67-51. Washington-bound football player Nate Robinson
was named the tournament's MVP. Won its fourth consecutive Sea-King District
title. Twins Lodrick and Rodrick Stewart are among the nation's top juniors.

DeMatha, Hyattsville, Md. (32-3)
Previous: 14. Recap: Beat Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, Va.) 68-63
to win its 18th Alhambra Catholic Invitational championship. Maryland-bound
Travis Garrison had 24 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks in the final.
Also won its second consecutive and 15th overall City Title game, beating
Spingarn (Washington, D.C.) 59-52. Won three in-season tournaments.
9. White
Station, Memphis (36-2)
Previous: 15. Recap: Won the Class AAA state championship,
defeating Science Hill (Johnson City) 59-45. Tournament MVP Melvin Wilkes
had 12 points and five assists. Also won the Beach Ball Classic (Myrtle
Beach, S.C.) in December.

Lexington (Ky.) Catholic (33-2)
Previous: 24. Recap: Won its first-ever Sweet 16 State
Tournament, defeating Tilghman (Paducah) 83-53 before 16,456 in Lexington.
Tournament MVP Demetrius Green had 24 points and 11 rebounds.

Miami (Fla.) Christian (38-2)
Previous: 11. Recap: Won its second Class 1A title in three
years, closing the season on a 29-game win streak. Coach Art Alvarez was
named the state's 1A Coach of the Year as his team set a state record for
most wins in a season.

Brookhaven, Columbus, Ohio (27-1)
Previous: Not ranked. Recap: Won the Division I state title,
beating Winton Woods (Cincinnati) 66-49. Raheem Moss scored 15 points.

Martin Luther King, Riverside, Calif. (31-4)
Previous: Not ranked. Recap: Defeated St. Francis (Mountain View)
53-52 to win its first-ever CIF Division II state crown. Marvin LeaCQ and
Leon Rosborough combined to score 36 points.

Vincent, Milwaukee (23-1)
Previous: 7. Recap: Upset by Wawatosa East 43-41 in Division I
state quarterfinals. Senior guard Greg Brown, who averaged 22.5 points per
game, was named Wisconsin's Mr. Basketball.

4A state tournament final. Junior center Kendrick Perkins had 20 points, 14
rebounds and five blocks in the final.

II state championship, stopping Groton-Dunstable Regional 88-68. The
starting trio of Florida-bound Rashid Al-Kaleem, Tony Chatman and Alan
Taylor helped team to a 79-1 record in three years.
